About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide leadership and project management to a cross-functional Integrated Product Team responsible for part-level ownership throughout design, validation, production, and field sustainment
- Guide technical execution, manage program commitments, and ensure Component Integrated Product Team goals are met
- Support IPT activities across design, structural analysis, durability, aero, materials, and manufacturing engineering
- Drive technical execution and program performance, including risk management, issue resolution, and key review readiness
- Plan and manage budgets, schedules, and technical metrics in collaboration with the CIPT
- Ensure communication, risk closure, and alignment to program requirements
- Coordinate and support Class I and Class II Engineering Changes
- Oversee supplier and manufacturing reviews, engine build-test-teardown events, ACIs, FMRs, MERLIN field inquiries, and deviation requests
- Support field investigations and production delivery troubleshooting
- Travel up to 10% domestically
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- 5 years of engineering experience or an Advanced degree with 3 years of engineering experience
- 3 years of project management experience
- U.S. citizenship required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- English (read, write, speak) required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English
- Prior experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM) preferred
- Familiarity with bid and proposal cost estimating for military programs preferred
- Experience with AGILE methodologies preferred
- Knowledge of CORE, Lean Six Sigma, and QCPC processes preferred
- Ability to travel up to 10% domestically
