Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and enhance the Data Configuration System (DCS) Qt/C++ desktop application
  • Support multi-user editing, concurrency control, and integration with a unified database
  • Design intuitive user interfaces for complex workflows
  • Implement forward/backward traceability, rule-based diagnostics, and automated data-system configuration
  • Create workflow automation for approvals, notifications, and other business processes
  • Integrate software with external systems and enterprise tools
  • Collaborate with customers, planners, and cross-functional teams to translate test requirements into standardized digital configurations
  • Design scalable architectures and enable reusability across engine series
  • Strengthen reliability, safety, and efficiency within the engine test lifecycle
  • Travel up to 10%

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • 5 years of engineering experience or an Advanced degree with 3 years of engineering experience
  • Experience in C++ programming
  • Experience developing desktop applications using Qt
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
  • Active and existing DoD Secret security clearance required after day 1
