About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop full-stack web-based applications
  • Modernize legacy software into modern microservice and web-based applications
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and document software applications
  • Troubleshoot and isolate sources of system errors or unexpected performance
  • Perform testing, integration, and delivery of new software baselines
  • Perform in-depth analysis and assessment with an end-to-end perspective of complex systems in operations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics typically required, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience
  • Experience coding software in Java, Python, or C++
  • Experience in software development and/or software integration
  • Active and transferable TS/SCI with CI Poly U.S. government-issued security clearance required prior to start date
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Full-stack experience with React or Angular preferred
  • Experience making high-level architecture decisions and determining appropriate technology stacks preferred
  • Experience in a structured configuration-controlled environment, primarily supporting and maintaining real-time software applications on an Operations and Maintenance contract preferred
  • Experience with Linux/Unix, Git, and SQL preferred
  • Experience with JIRA, GitLab, and Confluence preferred
