About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop concepts of operations for radar systems
- Develop radar processing algorithms
- Develop radar systems/software requirements
- Perform statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data
- Develop analysis tools to support problem identification and resolution
- Collaborate with Systems and Software Engineers to develop and implement solutions
- Present findings and solutions to leadership and/or customers
- Support requirements, concepts of operations, algorithms, integration, and analysis activities
- Travel to RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations for test events and mission execution, potentially up to 20%
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience with systems hardware, systems/software requirements, systems integration, and/or systems test
- Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++ and/or other programming language
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date
- DoD Secret clearance
- Experience with design, development, and analysis of radar system and software architecture
- Experience with signal processing techniques in complex propagation environments
- Experience in system-level requirements development, documentation, and maintenance, or design and development of system-level software architecture
- Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo or other digital engineering tools
- Experience with evaluating systems using simulated environments
- Experience with military systems
- Current/Active DoD security clearance
