About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead financial management, forecasting, labor tracking, and cost control for the Prime Transformation initiative
  • Compare transformation labor hours against project plans and reconcile weekly labor discrepancies
  • Support labor forecasting and validate charges across cost centers and transformation projects
  • Assign resources to work centers and support work center creation during reorganizations
  • Manage Forecast On-Time Delivery metrics and maintain workstream-level forecasts in Planview
  • Validate forecasts against priorities, schedule shifts, and transformation scope changes
  • Perform variance analysis, identify financial or schedule deviations, and determine root causes with Project Managers
  • Report variances and explanations to DT Finance, PMO stakeholders, and Prime leadership
  • Review forecasts, actuals, and corrective actions with Finance
  • Review SAP actuals before monthly financial close
  • Track purchase orders and coordinate PO status actions with Finance
  • Track budget changes, funding adjustments, and cost-saving opportunities
  • Prepare and submit standard and Project-Manager-initiated accruals
  • Identify capital versus expense items and prepare eCARs for Prime systems, tools, and modernization investments
  • Set up charge codes and support new project setup activities
  • Research and resolve project charging discrepancies across DT and business-unit stakeholders
  • Process, troubleshoot, and track Supplier Relationship Management carts
  • Create project investment summaries and assist with cost and schedule variance analysis
  • Gather and validate project actuals tied to transformation deliverables with DT Finance and business units
  • Collaborate with DT Finance, DT Program Management, and Project Managers as a member of the Prime Transformation leadership team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University Degree and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
  • U.S. citizenship required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with COBRA, SAP, Planview, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams required
  • Proficiency with financial and accounting principles
  • Experience with forecasting, financial management, labor tracking, cost control, variance analysis, accruals, purchase order tracking, charge codes, and project setup
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced transformation environment
