About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with Military Engine Programs to support software systems used to create, publish, distribute, and present technical documents
Manage customer expectations and ensure project scope and direction remain on schedule
Improve and maintain internal platforms for automated and on-demand publication of technical data
Support dependent engine programs to ensure on-time release deliveries
Troubleshoot and resolve software issues to improve publishing performance
Design, build, test, and implement scalable front-end and back-end applications
Write clean, functional code
Prepare and maintain technical software-development documentation
Implement S1000D-compliant technical data standards in a subsidiary authoring suite
Review and update technical publications Base of Estimates as needed, including program status, content, and funding-cycle information

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience, or Advanced degree with 3+ years of experience in Aftermarket industry supporting business operations
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies
Experience with GitHub, JIRA, or other code and product management software
5+ years of experience in software development
3+ years as a Full Stack Developer
Proven experience with Python, Java, HTML5, CSS3, XSLT, JavaScript, and Apache web servers
Proficiency in UI/UX principles, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility
Strong knowledge of React.js, including components, state management, hooks, and lifecycle methods
Experience with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or MongoDB and SQL data retrieval
Ability to work independently
Excellent oral and written communication skills
