About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Plans
  • Plan and execute sourcing decisions and support the Make/Buy/Where process
  • Identify Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and communicate required terms, conditions, attachments, and/or modifications
  • Assist with generating Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs)
  • Generate Supplier Requests for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs), and obtain and understand supplier proposals/quotes
  • Generate and process Supplier New Add / Re-Activation requests
  • Drive Purchase Requisition generation and Purchase Order placement/management, including MRP system demand loads
  • Participate in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure supplier performance
  • Serve as liaison between Supply Chain and Program teams
  • Create and execute the Program Material Strategy from the front end of the business through contract closure
  • Develop and achieve program material delivery and financial performance objectives in a matrixed environment
  • Support product development efforts in a fast-paced, changing environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • Experience with Supply Chain, Production Control, and/or Procurement processes and requirements
  • Experience with Office 365
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Active and existing DoD Secret security clearance required after day 1
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management or related preferred
  • Experience supporting product development efforts preferred
  • Experience with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SSOWs) preferred
  • Experience in a matrixed organizational structure preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Earned Value Management and EVM metrics, processes, and tools preferred
  • Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM) preferred
  • Ability to travel
