About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead deployment, configuration, and sustainment of medium- to large-scale Industry 4.0 platforms and applications across global manufacturing sites
  • Serve as technical focal point and application owner for assigned digital factory systems
  • Analyze business requirements and propose scalable technical solutions
  • Translate customer needs into system designs, specifications, and implementation plans
  • Support current and legacy applications for reliability, stability, and compliance
  • Perform system installation, integration, configuration, hardening, patching, log management, and security reviews
  • Execute daily operations using incident and change management processes
  • Maintain standard work, best practices, diagrams, and configuration documentation
  • Monitor applications and services and identify automation opportunities to improve uptime and resiliency
  • Collaborate with vendors, stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues
  • Provide knowledge sharing and cross-training to peers and junior team members

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University Degree and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Extensive experience with digital technology infrastructure and related concepts
  • Hands-on application administration experience, including installation, configuration, optimization, backup, and recovery across server environments
  • Experience with automation tooling and containerization technologies
  • Experience with AWS and Azure cloud environments
  • Ability to lead projects and guide customers toward business-aligned solutions
  • Experience querying and working with databases such as MS SQL, Oracle, HANA, and Databricks
  • Solid understanding of Bash, Python, and PowerShell
  • Knowledge of IT best practices, including ITIL, and experience in a process-driven enterprise environment
  • Experience with application security and system compliance activities
  • Experience working with vendors, stakeholders, and end users to resolve issues
  • Experience with enterprise-level solutions and large-scale projects
  • Basic understanding of application automation, security, and compliance concepts
