About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage deployments, upgrades, and support for Systems Engineering tools
  • Perform testing, data backups, compliance activities, tool integrations, and configurations
  • Apply Systems Engineering expertise to engage programs in implementing Systems Engineering solutions
  • Deploy desktop Systems Engineering solutions to programs
  • Identify, document, and champion best practices and improvements for software deployment and support efficiency
  • Work with program engineers to plan and implement migrations from legacy Systems Engineering applications to modern tools
  • Develop technical solutions to complex problems using ingenuity and creativity

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience
  • Experience applying engineering tools/solutions in at least two Systems and Software Engineering capability areas, including Requirements and Test
  • Experience with Agile or Model Based Engineering practices, tools, and methods
  • Administration experience with Windows and Linux
  • Scripting and automation ability
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • STEM degree preferred
  • Working knowledge of IBM DOORS/DNG, Rational Publishing Engine, and Rational Directory Server preferred
  • Knowledge of Systems, Software, and IV&V Engineering Processes and Integrated Product Development Process (IPDP) preferred
