About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support hotel projects across Europe in the field of building services engineering (Cost Group 400)
- Take technical responsibility for the electrical and HVAC/plumbing trades
- Review external specialist designs from Ruby’s perspective and introduce requirements at an early stage
- Ensure the implementation of technical and quality standards
- Advise and challenge specialist planners, investors, and project partners
- Support projects from planning and implementation through commissioning and handover
- Support the implementation phase with a focus on quality, functionality, and attention to detail
- Make regular site visits, with work primarily carried out remotely or from the office
- Tender, award, and manage the Sound, IT, F&B, and KeyCard trades as part of FF&E projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in HVAC/plumbing/building services engineering or comparable vocational training
- Experience in building services site management, specialist planning, or a comparable role
- Experience working on construction sites
- Experience in design review, quality assurance, and project coordination
- Strong technical understanding across all project phases, from planning through handover
- Structured, independent, and self-motivated working style
- Willingness to make regular site visits and travel
- Excellent German and English language skills
