About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and disseminate technical standards, principles, and guidelines for the engineering ecosystem
- Serve as an architectural reference for the various squads
- Align with and guide Tech Leads, ensuring consistency in technical decisions
- Define and evolve solution architectures, considering scalability, security, performance, and maintainability
- Promote integration across squads, avoiding technical and organizational silos
- Support highly complex technical decisions and direct problem-solving efforts
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, tools, and development standards
- Ensure the adoption of software engineering best practices and code quality standards
- Establish standards for the development, integration, and evolution of solutions
- Work closely with engineering teams to identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement
- Support Tech Leads in making architectural and technical decisions
- Contribute to the evolution of engineering processes, seeking greater efficiency, quality, and productivity
- Promote an integrated view of the technology ecosystem, ensuring that squad decisions are aligned with the overall technical strategy
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive experience as a Software Architect, Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, Principal Engineer, or in an equivalent role
- Proven experience working in environments with multiple squads and engineering teams
- Strong knowledge of software architecture and systems engineering
- Experience defining technical standards and guidelines
- Ability to serve as a technical reference for Tech Leads and development teams
- Knowledge of distributed architecture, APIs, integrations, scalability, and development best practices
- Experience making highly complex technical decisions
- Strong knowledge of code quality, development standards, and engineering processes
- Excellent communication, influencing, and cross-functional alignment skills
- Strategic mindset, with a hands-on approach when necessary
- Advanced English proficiency
