About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the end-to-end UX/UI design process for AI-native employee-facing products, from problem framing and discovery through prototyping, validation, delivery and iteration
  • Design intuitive experiences for complex enterprise workflows, AI interactions and consumer-facing digital products across web and mobile
  • Create information architecture, user flows, journey maps, wireframes, interactive prototypes and high-fidelity interface designs
  • Translate business, operational and user needs into usable and visually polished product experiences
  • Design complex scenarios involving multiple user roles, approvals, exceptions, dashboards, data-rich interfaces and operational workflows
  • Apply interaction patterns for AI uncertainty, transparency, user control, feedback, error recovery and trust
  • Prototype and test emerging AI interaction concepts
  • Plan and conduct user interviews, contextual research, stakeholder workshops and usability testing
  • Synthesise qualitative and quantitative insights into design decisions and product recommendations
  • Present design rationale, facilitate stakeholder alignment and incorporate feedback
  • Create, maintain and govern design systems, reusable components, interaction patterns and design documentation in Figma
  • Partner with engineering and product teams on feasibility, design handoff, implementation reviews and quality assurance
  • Contribute targeted coded prototypes
  • Champion accessibility, responsive design, consistency and consumer-grade quality
  • Review implemented interfaces and collaborate with engineering to resolve design gaps

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 6 years of professional UX/UI or product design experience, with evidence of operating at senior level
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design work on enterprise applications, AI-powered products or consumer digital platforms spanning web and mobile platforms
  • Expert proficiency in Figma, including wireframing, prototyping, component libraries, variables, design systems and developer handoff
  • Experience designing complex, workflow-heavy or data-rich applications
  • Hands-on experience with user research, usability testing and iterative product development
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills
  • Practical capability in HTML5, modern CSS and JavaScript
  • Working knowledge of TypeScript and at least one modern component-based framework such as React, Angular or Vue
  • Understanding of responsive design, browser behaviour, accessibility and performance considerations
