About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the DoD customer’s Cybersecurity Assess & Authorize (A&A) team
- Ensure information systems obtain proper authorization from the Authorizing Official (AO)
- Ensure new technologies are fully assessed before network integration
- Manage and support multiple Authorization to Operate (ATO) efforts
- Drive the successful authorization of approximately seven packages annually
- Develop RMF Executive Packages including a System Security Plan, Security Assessment Report (SAR), Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&M), Risk Assessment Report (RAR), and Authorization Decision Document
- Register systems in the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) application
- Use eMASS to support and automate the RMF
- Register and maintain all Agency connections into SNAP
- Provide monthly and annual SNAP registration metrics
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- 5–10 years of relevant cybersecurity / RMF / A&A experience
- Experience with eMASS
- Knowledge of DoDI 8510.01
- Knowledge of NIST SP 800-37
- Knowledge of NIST SP 800-30
- Must possess one of the following IAT Level II certifications: CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CompTIA CySA+, SSCP, GICSP, GSEC, or CND
