About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Ryan’s compensation philosophy and the evaluation, analysis, and administration of compensation programs, policies, and procedures
- Provide compensation analysis and solutions for the Ryan People Group and leadership throughout the Firm
- Support, administer, and maintain Ryan People Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system
- Research international, federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations to ensure Firm compliance
- Provide compensation support for due diligence and integration processes for mergers and acquisitions and international expansion
- Analyze existing or proposed compensation programs, including base and incentive pay structures
- Evaluate job responsibilities and qualifications to recommend appropriate titles, levels, salary ranges, and pay grades
- Participate in documenting jobs, writing or reviewing job descriptions, and ensuring overtime eligibility classification compliance with the FLSA or applicable local laws
- Participate in salary and compensation practice surveys and ensure accurate, complete submissions by vendor deadlines
- Support Annual Merit & Promotion cycles, including updating increase matrices, reviewing salary adjustments, reviewing promotions and classifications, and performing Workday data changes
- Create and maintain compensation documents and compile policy and language changes to incentive compensation programs
- Assist with calculating eligibility and payouts for annual discretionary incentive plans and producing compensation statements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field with two to four years of compensation experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Global compensation experience is a plus
- Proficient skills in Microsoft® Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Intermediate skills in Outlook, Internet navigation, and utilization of Workday HCM functionality and configuration
- Functional experience with administering and supporting the Workday HCM system is required
- Working knowledge of Access is a plus
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), or Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) Certification is a plus
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 lbs.
- Independent travel requirement may be approximately 10%
