About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Ryan’s compensation philosophy and attract, retain, motivate, and reward talent through compensation program evaluation, analysis, and administration
- Provide compensation analysis and solutions for the Ryan People Group and firm leadership
- Create a positive team member experience supporting client service and firm revenue and profit
- Provide support, administration, and maintenance of Ryan People Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system
- Research international, federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Support due diligence and integration processes for mergers and acquisitions and international expansion
- Analyze existing or proposed base and incentive pay structures and recommend solutions aligned with strategic goals and applicable laws
- Evaluate job responsibilities and qualifications to recommend job titles, levels, salary ranges, and pay grades
- Document jobs, review job descriptions, and ensure overtime eligibility classification compliance with the FLSA or applicable local laws
- Participate in salary and compensation practice surveys and ensure accurate, timely submissions
- Support annual merit and promotion cycles, including updating increase matrices, reviewing salary adjustments, and assigning salary ranges/pay grades
- Perform data changes in Workday
- Create and maintain compensation documents and compile incentive compensation policy and language changes for leadership review
- Calculate eligibility and payouts for annual discretionary incentive plans and produce compensation statements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field with two to four years of compensation experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient skills in Microsoft® Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Intermediate skills in Outlook, Internet navigation, and utilization of Workday HCM functionality and configuration
- Functional experience with administering and supporting the Workday HCM system is required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 lbs.
- Independent travel requirement: May be approximately 10%
- Global compensation experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of Access is a plus
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), or Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) Certification is a plus
