About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct VAT reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance compliance and efficiency.
- Advise clients on VAT compliance and guide VAT-related issues, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Gather, analyze, and make recommendations based on customer data that improve the organization’s operating efficiencies and costs.
- Analyze and interpret complex VAT regulations and legislation, providing accurate and timely advice to clients.
- Stay updated on the latest VAT developments and changes in legislation and proactively communicate their impact to clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance, legal, and tax departments, to ensure alignment and integrated VAT solutions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor´s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex VAT regulations and provide accurate advice.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research.
- Solid knowledge of the tax engine.
- Driver's License.
- Fluent in Finnish & English.
- No supervisory responsibilities.
