About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support three Principals within Ryan's Employment Tax team with their daily responsibilities
- Provide outstanding administrative support while representing the Firm professionally and positively
- Manage multiple priorities and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Act as an extension of the Principal when dealing with colleagues and clients
- Maintain email, written, phone, and fax communications while the Principal is traveling
- Assist other Executive Assistants and less-experienced team members
- Prepare reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence
- Create and edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
- Manage schedules, appointments, itineraries, meetings, travel, conference calls, and expense reports
- Organize and prioritize multiple tasks under strict time constraints
- Answer and transfer telephone calls and take accurate messages
- Manage correspondence and electronic or hard-copy filing systems
- Read, sort, and distribute incoming mail and route client documentation when necessary
- Handle and safeguard confidential and sensitive information
- Identify and improve internal processes and help develop Firm policies
- Review and edit client-related documentation
- Assist with other projects and complete assignments with little supervision
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma
- 3+ years of experience performing administrative duties for an individual, group, or department
- Strong grammatical and proofreading skills
- Solid experience making contacts of a sensitive, complex, and confidential nature
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research
- Valid driver’s license required
- Notary Public preferred
