About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with the effective and efficient operation of Ryan’s global Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
- Assist with hands-on execution of sourcing events
- Influence policy and technology decisions
- Support end-to-end transaction activity
- Assist with strategic sourcing, purchasing, travel & expense, travel & purchasing card administration, and accounts payable
- Support administration of P2P processing to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of purchases and payments
- Support Treasury in developing and maintaining banking and card provider relationships
- Support senior management and stakeholders with in-depth support and analyses
- Identify and present solutions for continuous process improvements
- Contribute to savings and performance improvement targets
- Maintain current understanding of trends in professional services and supply markets
- Assist with sourcing strategies based on empirical analysis and company standards
- Support Ryan’s procurement policies and procedures within enterprise governance
- Assist with other projects and assigned duties
- No supervisory responsibilities
- Regular interaction with employees at all levels of the Firm
- Independent domestic and international travel up to 10%
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in areas of Procurement, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering or Computer Science.
- Self-motivated, strong analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exposure to P2P including e-procurement, e-contract, or e-payables platform experience
- 2+ years in strategic sourcing for professional services organization with specific experience in facilities, travel, and/or IT-related categories
- Advanced skills in Microsoft® Office Suite
- Concur Travel and Workday Financials experience desirable.
- CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management)
- Valid driver’s license required
