About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure the quality of software delivered by the IT Applications Team
Use manual and automated testing to verify software functionality and compliance with Ryan standards
Provide feedback to Business Analysts to clarify requirements
Respond to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities
Develop, execute, and maintain test plans
Translate requirements into manual and automated test cases
Execute test plans and provide feedback on results
Work with Application developers to resolve issues and document bugs
Use Jira to document issues and enhancements
Maintain a testing schedule across multiple software applications
Develop and maintain documentation for testing activities
Ensure Ryan applications meet quality, compliance, standards, and requirements
Alert the Product team to potential issues through a feedback loop
Perform regression testing during application releases
Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems is preferred or equivalent work experience
Two to three years of hands-on administration experience with Software Quality Assurance and issue documentation
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong analytical skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills and attitude
Experience with SQL is a plus
Valid driver's license required
Ability to work in a standard indoor working environment
Ability to interact regularly with employees at all levels of the Firm and external vendors
Independent travel requirement: less than 10%
