About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Operational leadership of complex international machinery and plant engineering projects
Coordination and planning within multi-project and portfolio management
Leadership, planning, and coordination of a team of 10 project managers
Central point of contact for project-related questions and interface matters between specialist departments
Analysis, optimization, and continuous development of project delivery processes
Ensuring and monitoring defined project and process standards
Supporting the professional development and qualification of employees
Responsibility for planning, coordinating, preparing, and delivering reports to Executive Management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Technical vocational training and a completed qualification as an HF Technician or a degree in engineering from a University of Applied Sciences (FH)
Many years of professional experience in a comparable role, preferably in the machinery industry
Strong interpersonal skills, particularly communication and conflict-resolution abilities
Strong methodological expertise, particularly in project management and problem-solving
Experienced leader with an authentic presence
Assertiveness combined with diplomatic skills
Proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholders
Ability to guide teams through change
Coaching and mentoring approach to employee development
Strong affinity for AI and digitalization, with initial implementation experience
Business-fluent German and English
Additional languages are an advantage
