About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assemble, install and commission special-purpose packaging machines
  • Wire control cabinets and cable and connect assemblies and machine components
  • Assemble and commission systems at customer sites in Switzerland and abroad
  • Independently carry out and coordinate electrical installation work within assigned projects
  • Take responsibility for quality, adherence to deadlines and the efficient use of assembly hours in line with project planning
  • Analyse, troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults and wiring errors
  • Perform and document prescribed electrical measurements and inspection activities
  • Participate in design reviews and work closely with Engineering and Project Management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed technical apprenticeship as an automation technician, automation assembler, electrical installer or in a comparable electrical engineering profession
  • Experience in electrical assembly, wiring and commissioning of machines
  • Confident reading and interpretation of electrical schematics and technical documentation
  • Enjoy systematically analysing technical challenges and developing sustainable solutions
  • Team-oriented personality who values interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Independent, structured and quality-conscious approach to work
  • Strong sense of responsibility and a pronounced understanding of deadlines, quality and customer satisfaction
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% for assignments at customer sites in Switzerland and abroad
  • Native-level German (C2) and good English skills (B1)
