About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Reconcile NetSuite inventory balances against third-party co-manufacturer reporting across all locations
Review co-manufacturer production and consumption reports before posting
Research and resolve discrepancies, short receipts, and unreported inventory movements with co-manufacturer contacts
Track inbound shipments and escalate delays, quantity variances, and damages
Investigate and document root causes of partner-level variances and follow corrective actions
Execute and audit assembly builds for manufacturing, kitting, and finished goods in NetSuite
Process and validate inventory adjustments for production, kitting, rework, and corrections
Enter and verify item receipts, transfers, and returns for co-manufacturer and warehouse locations
Validate Bills of Materials used in production and kitting assemblies
Ensure transactions accurately reflect SKU, quantity, location, date, physical movements, and partner reporting
Build and maintain inventory reports covering on-hand positions, variance summaries, aging, and discrepancy logs
Identify discrepancies between expected and actual material usage and quantify impact
Validate data to identify posting errors, duplicate transactions, and missing entries
Analyze recurring discrepancy trends and recommend process or system fixes
Assist with month-end inventory close and reconciliations across locations and partners
Provide transaction-level support, documentation, and written variance explanations for accounting and audits
Maintain SOPs for owned tasks and perform other related assigned tasks

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of hands-on experience in inventory, supply chain, ecommerce operations, or transactional accounting
Working experience in NetSuite, including assembly builds, item receipts, transfers, inventory adjustments, and saved searches
Experience reconciling internal inventory records against third-party reporting from co-manufacturers, contract manufacturers, or outsourced warehouse partners
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and large multi-thousand-row files
Demonstrated accuracy with detailed numerical data and discipline to double-check work
Strong written English
Ability to work independently in a remote setup and raise issues early
Reliable internet connection and computer suitable for full-time remote work
Experience in a DTC, ecommerce, CPG, or food and beverage environment (preferred)
Exposure to co-packer or contract manufacturing relationships, BOM structures, and kitting operations (preferred)
Experience participating in a month-end or year-end inventory close (preferred)
Advanced NetSuite knowledge, including Inventory and Manufacturing modules, multi-location inventory, work orders, assembly items, saved searches, and reports (preferred)
Comfort working with NetSuite, Excel/Google Sheets, and Slack (preferred)
