Key responsibilities & impact

Create and maintain accurate Purchase Orders based on approved purchasing requirements
Review PO items, quantities, vendors, pricing, locations, and required fields
Monitor and update open POs and ensure documentation supports receiving and inventory tracking
Create and update Bills of Materials, verifying components, quantities, item numbers, and units of measure
Process Item Receipts for vendor, warehouse, and transfer-order shipments
Compare expected and received quantities and resolve receiving discrepancies
Process Build Assembly transactions for co-manufactured finished goods
Verify BOM components, consume correct inventory quantities, and record finished goods
Record and reconcile co-manufacturer scrap quantities and process inventory adjustments
Perform monthly inventory reconciliations across systems, warehouse records, and reports
Investigate variances, coordinate with relevant teams, process approved adjustments, and document results

Requirements

What you’ll need

1–2+ years of virtual experience in inventory control, purchasing, supply chain, or transactional accounting
Hands-on experience with an ERP/inventory system; NetSuite strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail and comfort reconciling data across multiple sources
Solid Excel/Google Sheets skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
Clear written and verbal communication for coordinating with co-manufacturers, warehouse, and internal teams
Ability to manage a high volume of recurring transactions accurately under deadline
Preferred: Experience working with third-party co-manufacturers in a CPG/food & beverage environment
Preferred: Familiarity with BOM structures, assembly/build transactions, and inventory adjustment workflows
Preferred: Exposure to monthly close or reconciliation processes
