About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, test, and debug software under the guidance of experienced engineers
  • Implement software requirements using .NET C# and related technologies
  • Contribute to in-house Manufacturing Execution Software (MES) and enterprise applications
  • Support backend services, MySQL databases, RESTful APIs, and Angular-based frontend development
  • Explore new technologies and industry trends
  • Review and update documentation, notes, and development records
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, project teams, configuration managers, manufacturing stakeholders, and operations teams
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements for the Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) platform across the full technology stack
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform code refactoring
  • Improve system performance and support modernization efforts
  • Configure, image, deploy, and maintain Raspberry Pi devices in manufacturing environments
  • Develop Python solutions for device integration and edge computing
  • Assist with hardware wiring, sensor integration, device testing, troubleshooting, and validation
  • Comply with company policies and rules

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • In-progress degree program from an accredited university/college program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another related field
  • Returning to school full-time after the work session
  • Preliminary problem-solving skills

  • Interpersonal and collaborative relationship-building skills
  • Written, verbal, listening, and presentation communication skills
  • Organizational planning and coordination skills
  • Analytical skills and ability to use and analyze data
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Flexibility to work extended hours when necessary
  • Basic knowledge of .NET C#
  • Basic knowledge of relational databases, SQL, or MySQL
  • Basic knowledge of RESTful API fundamentals
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Ability to occasionally lift production parts and tooling weighing less than 50 pounds
  • Frequent walking throughout the facility indoors and outdoors
