About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and develop complex software solutions
- Collaborate with customers on business and technical requirements
- Create unit and integration tests
- Define development and architecture standards as well as best practices
- Advise business units and stakeholders on technical questions related to Java development
- Take responsibility for complex Java-based web applications and system architectures in public-sector customer projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree or vocational training with a focus on IT
- Several years of experience as a software developer in an agile Java environment
- Practical experience with the Spring Framework and Java SE/EE
- In-depth knowledge of and practical experience with containerization, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies
- Solid knowledge of relational databases and SQL, as well as frameworks such as JPA and Hibernate
- Fluent German
- Willingness to travel: quarterly meetings in Nuremberg and a few on-site customer visits per year
