About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Advise insurance industry clients on optimizing their processes, such as operations, sales, or claims and benefits
Support the implementation of new systems and the transformation of existing business models
Apply industry expertise to address the specific requirements of the insurance sector
Lead initial work packages or subprojects from kick-off through successful completion
Ensure the achievement of the desired project outcomes
Contribute professional and, ideally, technical expertise
Develop tailored solutions for insurance industry clients
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, IT departments, and business units
Support the development of junior colleagues through professional and technical guidance

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
At least 3 years of experience in management consulting, ideally with a focus on the insurance sector, or in a comparable position at an insurance company
Basic knowledge of modern IT technologies, system architectures, and software solutions, particularly in the context of insurance companies
Experience leading work packages or subprojects
Familiarity with common project management methodologies, such as Scrum, Agile, and Waterfall
Ability to understand and analyze complex requirements and translate them into practical solutions
Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and effectively and collaborate with a range of stakeholders
Willingness to travel regularly to client sites
Willingness to participate in on-site team meetings in Wiesbaden
