About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advise clients in the insurance industry on optimizing their processes, such as operations, sales, or claims and benefits
- Support the implementation of new systems and the transformation of existing business models
- Contribute industry expertise on the specific requirements of the insurance sector
- Lead initial work packages or subprojects from kick-off through successful completion
- Ensure the achievement of the desired project outcomes
- Contribute professional and, ideally, technical expertise
- Develop tailored solutions for clients in the insurance industry
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including executive management, IT departments, and business units
- Support the development of junior colleagues through professional and technical guidance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
- At least 3 years of experience in management consulting, ideally with a focus on the insurance industry, or in a comparable role at an insurance company
- Basic knowledge of modern IT technologies, system architectures, and software solutions, particularly in the context of insurance companies
- Experience leading work packages or subprojects
- Familiarity with common project management methodologies, such as Scrum, Agile, and Waterfall
- Ability to quickly understand and analyze complex requirements and translate them into practical solutions
- Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and understandably and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
- Willingness to travel regularly to client sites
- Willingness to attend on-site team meetings in Wiesbaden
