About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, implement, and maintain IT security and overall security concepts
- Transfer security concepts into a database-supported content management system
- Conduct risk analyses and protection-needs assessments, and derive appropriate measures
- Coach and provide subject-matter support for the creation, maintenance, and further development of IT security concepts and policies
- Advise technical product owners and IT security officers, particularly on the use of the ISMS tool
- Coordinate and implement new IT-Grundschutz and BSI requirements
- Conduct internal audits in accordance with applicable specifications
- Support IT security inquiries
- Create, review, and maintain security-related documentation
- Assess, develop, and implement IT security concepts for public-sector clients
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed university degree, vocational training, or equivalent qualification in an IT-related field
- Several years of relevant professional experience in IT security / information security
- Extensive experience with information security processes, risk management, and business continuity management
- Excellent knowledge of creating, implementing, and evaluating IT security policies and concepts
- Experience assessing high-availability systems and deriving measures from baseline checks and extended risk analyses
- Excellent knowledge of BSI Standards 200-1, 200-2, 200-3, and 100-4, as well as the IT-Grundschutz Compendium
- Structured and self-directed approach to work
- Confident professional presence
- Excellent German language skills
