About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, implementation, and maintenance of IT security and comprehensive security concepts
- Transfer of security concepts into a database-driven content management system
- Conducting risk analyses and determining protection requirements
- Deriving appropriate security measures
- Coaching and providing subject-matter support in the creation, maintenance, and further development of IT security concepts and policies
- Advising technical product owners and IT security managers, particularly on the use of the ISMS tool
- Coordinating and implementing new IT-Grundschutz and BSI requirements
- Conducting internal audits
- Supporting IT security inquiries
- Creating, reviewing, and maintaining security-related documentation
- Developing and implementing IT security concepts for public-sector clients
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed degree or vocational training in IT or a comparable qualification
- Several years of relevant professional experience in IT security / information security
- Extensive experience in information security processes, risk management, and business continuity management
- Very strong knowledge of creating, implementing, and evaluating IT security policies and concepts
- Experience evaluating high-availability systems and deriving measures from baseline checks and advanced risk analyses
- Very strong knowledge of BSI Standards (200-1, 200-2, 200-3, 100-4) and the IT-Grundschutz Compendium
- Structured and self-directed approach to work
- Confident professional manner
- Very good command of German
