About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to next-generation GovTech solutions for the public sector
- Design, implement, and maintain IT security and overarching security concepts
- Transfer security concepts into a database-supported content management system
- Conduct risk analyses and determine protection requirements, then derive appropriate measures
- Provide coaching and subject-matter support in creating, maintaining, and further developing IT security concepts and policies
- Advise technical product owners and IT security officers, particularly on using the ISMS tool
- Coordinate and implement new IT-Grundschutz and BSI requirements
- Conduct internal audits and support IT security inquiries
- Create, review, and maintain security-related documentation
- Collaborate with colleagues across various projects and customer environments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree or vocational training in IT or a comparable qualification
- Several years of relevant professional experience in IT security / information security
- Strong experience in information security processes, risk management, and business continuity management
- Excellent knowledge of developing, implementing, and evaluating IT security policies and concepts
- Experience assessing high-availability systems and deriving measures from baseline checks and advanced risk analyses
- Excellent knowledge of BSI Standards (200-1, 200-2, 200-3, 100-4) and the IT-Grundschutz Compendium
- Structured, independent working style and confident demeanor
- Excellent German language skills
