About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assume responsibility for moderately complex Formula Based Commercial Loan and Asset-Based Loan structuring, monitoring, and operations.
- Process draw requests, monitor collateral positions, conditions, performance metrics, and borrower trends.
- Analyze borrowing base certificates, accounts receivable and payable schedules, inventory listings, and other collateral reports.
- Participate in loan structuring and Commercial Loan underwriting, including collateral analysis and recommending loan conditions.
- Review loan documentation and ensure compliance with loan policies, procedures, Credit Memos, and Business Loan Agreements.
- Provide customer service, resolve borrower questions, and maintain relationships with commercial loan customers, bankers, and third-party consultants.
- Review and approve loan requests, participate in loan closing and funding, and authorize wires through the nCino credit workflow system.
- Order and review field examinations, inventory and machinery/equipment appraisals, and coordinate third-party vendors.
- Verify loan availability and outgoing wires, including callback procedures and beneficiary verification.
- Perform fraud testing and report suspected fraud.
- Identify out-of-formula positions, assist with corrective action plans, and monitor loans until compliance is restored.
- Maintain loan portfolios in the Cync asset-based loan system and provide trend reports and collateral analysis.
- Maintain collateral-reporting databases and files and prepare portfolio summary reports.
- Coordinate third-party examinations and report findings to lending and credit leadership.
- Independently monitor loan accounts, report exceptions and performance issues, and assist less experienced Secured Credit Administrators.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Requires a four-year college or equivalent, majoring in accounting or finance.
- Two to five years general experience.
- Two to five years specialized training in formula-based loan and asset-based loan monitoring activity.
- Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM, with additional hours as necessary.
- Ability to work at multiple locations and travel 0–10%.
- Ability to operate keypad and electronic equipment and perform the stated physical demands, with reasonable accommodations available.
- Must adhere to Key SOX Controls pertaining to independent field examiners and Borrowing Base Certificate review and signoff.
