About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Undertake technical reviews of Fire Risk Assessments

Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive experience undertaking commercial and residential Fire Risk Assessments
- Experience working within a BAFE SP205 certificated environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of fire safety legislation, guidance, and standards including PAS 79, BS 9999, BS 9991, and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order
- Experience reviewing, quality assuring, validating, or technically auditing Fire Risk Assessments
- Proven technical ability and sound professional judgement
- Excellent report writing, IT, communication, and coaching skills
- Experience supporting, mentoring, or developing Fire Risk Assessors
- A high-level qualification in Fire Risk Assessment, Fire Engineering, Fire Safety, or a related discipline
- Chartered or Incorporated membership of a recognised professional body such as the IFE, IFSM, or equivalent
- Previous experience as an SP205 Validator, Lead Assessor, Technical Reviewer, or Internal Auditor
- Knowledge of Higher-Risk Buildings and the Building Safety Act 2022
- Understanding of passive fire protection, compartmentation, fire doors, and external wall systems
- Experience undertaking consultant competency assessments and technical sign-off activities
- Full driving licence
- Access to your own vehicle
