About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs
- Assess business objectives and design technical solutions
- Design and support Salesforce integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and data migration tools
- Design and support integrations between Salesforce and Snowflake for data ingestion, transformation, synchronization, and reporting
- Configure and customize scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutions
- Apply Salesforce platform architecture, large data volume, and performance optimization practices
- Translate functional business requirements into technical implementations
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Coach and mentor stakeholders while promoting best practices and continuous improvement
- Work within deployment teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies, automation, build tools, CI/CD, and version control
- Deliver complex Salesforce development, architecture, and consultancy solutions independently
Requirements
What you’ll need- Deep experience with Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs
- Proven track record assessing business objectives and crafting technical solutions
- Solid understanding of the Salesforce development lifecycle and CI/CD practices
- Strong experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and data migration tools
- Experience designing and supporting integrations between Salesforce and Snowflake, including data ingestion, transformation, synchronization, and reporting use cases
- Strong understanding of data architecture, data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, data governance, and data security best practices
- Extensive hands-on experience configuring and customizing scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutions
- 5+ years of experience working within deployment teams, ideally using Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Expert-level knowledge of Salesforce platform architecture, custom development, large data volumes, and performance optimization
- Ability to connect business processes to technical solutions
- Excellent communication skills for translating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Ability to coach, mentor, and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Architect track, Developer (PD1/PD2), Platform App Builder, or relevant cloud-specific certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of hands-on Salesforce development, architecture, and consultancy experience
- Experience with Snowflake, including data modeling, SQL development, performance optimization, and integration architecture
- Relevant current Salesforce certifications demonstrating advanced technical expertise
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, integrations, data migration, and security model
- Experience in Agile environments with automation, build tools, and version control
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to independently deliver complex solutions
- Preferred experience with Snowflake, Databricks, MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar cloud-based technologies
