About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Learn the project management cycle, including execution and review of master project cycles and program plans
- Assist with developing and executing plans to meet technical requirements, schedules, and contract commitments
- Assist with process documentation and updates
- Assist with data analytics and business intelligence dashboard updates
- Interact with colleagues across Saab, Inc. to develop project management approaches
- Support program reviews and internal process gate reviews
Requirements
What you’ll need- Enrollment in an accredited degree program at the BS/MS level or beyond
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
- Familiarity with key program management concepts and fundamentals is a plus
- Conceptual understanding of risk and opportunity management is a plus
- Understanding of or experience working with Earned Value Management
- Familiarity with MS Project and Excel
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
- Ability to learn quickly through instruction, self-study, and practical application
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, inquisitive, organized, flexible, and thorough
- Clear and concise written and oral communication
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
