About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and drive Saab's enterprise strategy, business priorities and governance for content, knowledge management and collaboration
  • Lead the transition from document-centric information management to knowledge-driven ways of working
  • Ensure content supports collaboration, analytics, automation and AI
  • Establish governance models, operating forums and communities of practice
  • Improve content and knowledge quality, findability, trust and reuse using metadata, taxonomy and semantic standards
  • Improve the organisation's ability to find, understand and reuse information across business areas, functions and geographical boundaries
  • Align stakeholders, initiatives and business needs across Saab's global and decentralised organisation
  • Define and monitor outcomes related to adoption, knowledge reuse, collaboration effectiveness and business value
  • Partner with technology and solution teams to shape business requirements and priorities as the business owner
  • Coordinate stakeholders, initiatives and business needs as a central change leader
  • Report to the Head of Information Management within Group Function Information Management in the COO organisation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills
  • Proven ability to create alignment, governance and shared ways of working across a global, decentralised organisation
  • Experience defining and implementing enterprise-wide content management, knowledge management, collaboration or information management strategies in complex international environments
  • Experience driving adoption of common ways of working across business units, functions, countries and cultures
  • Understanding of content structuring and governance for knowledge discovery, analytics, automation and AI capabilities
  • Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution
  • Ability to turn business needs into practical frameworks, governance and sustainable ways of working
  • Initiative and ability to work independently and establish structure
  • Collaborative, pragmatic approach and ability to build trust and relationships across organisational, geographical and cultural boundaries
  • Experience in content management, information management, digital workplace, knowledge management or related disciplines
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 is advantageous
  • Experience with OpenText or other enterprise content management platforms is advantageous
  • Experience establishing governance structures, operating models or information management frameworks is advantageous
  • Experience with knowledge management, AI enablement, enterprise search, information architecture or information discovery is advantageous
  • Experience from large, complex organisations, preferably highly regulated industries such as defence
  • Must pass security vetting under current security protection regulations
  • Additional citizenship obligations may apply for positions requiring security clearance
