About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the organisation, people and capabilities responsible for IT services supporting Saab’s Commercial and Business Development Group Functions
- Lead, develop and engage employees within the area
- Ensure reliable, secure and cost-effective application management and service delivery
- Define and drive service roadmaps and lifecycle plans with business stakeholders
- Lead and develop the Digital Solutions team delivering automation, data and AI solutions across Group Functions
- Translate business needs into prioritised improvements and development initiatives
- Ensure information security and compliance requirements throughout the application lifecycle
- Drive modernisation and adoption of cloud, AI and automation
- Manage service performance, costs and vendor delivery against agreed commitments
- Build relationships with business stakeholders, vendors and partners
- Travel occasionally to meet teams, stakeholders and partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- Academic degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience leading application management and development
- Experience delivering results in complex IT environments while driving change and continuous improvement
- Strong understanding of service lifecycle management and continuous improvement
- Experience developing service roadmaps and prioritising business needs
- Experience managing and developing application services supporting corporate functions is considered an advantage
- Experience managing IT vendors and following up service delivery and costs
- Understanding of information security and compliance requirements in application management
- Experience driving organisational and technology transformation in complex environments
- Experience from large, complex and global organisations
- Experience from the defence industry is considered an advantage
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken
- Must pass security vetting based on current regulations around security protection
- Additional citizenship obligations may apply for positions requiring security clearance
