About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and develop the organisation, people and capabilities responsible for services supporting Saab’s Group Functions
- Ensure services meet business needs and agreed service requirements throughout their lifecycle
- Establish priorities and service roadmaps with business stakeholders
- Balance day-to-day delivery with improvements, modernisation and cost efficiency
- Translate business, information security and compliance requirements into effective application services
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors and partners to align responsibilities and priorities
- Lead, develop and engage employees within the area
- Ensure reliable, secure and cost-effective application management and service delivery
- Define and drive service roadmaps and lifecycle plans
- Translate business needs into prioritised improvements and development initiatives
- Drive modernisation and adoption of cloud, AI and automation
- Manage service performance, costs and vendor delivery against agreed commitments
- Build relationships to strengthen governance, compliance and value realisation
- Travel to meet teams, business stakeholders and partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- Academic degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience leading application management and development
- Strong understanding of service lifecycle management and continuous improvement
- Experience developing service roadmaps and prioritising business needs
- Experience managing and developing application services supporting corporate functions is considered an advantage
- Experience managing IT vendors and following up service delivery and costs
- Understanding of information security and compliance requirements in application management
- Experience driving organisational and technology transformation in complex environments
- Experience from large, complex and global organisations
- Experience from the defence industry is considered an advantage
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluency in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken
- Must pass security vetting based on current regulations around security protection
- Additional citizenship obligations may apply for positions requiring security clearance
