About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the organisation responsible for IT services and business applications supporting Saab’s corporate Group Functions
- Lead through a management team and remain accountable for service performance, delivery priorities and capability development
- Coordinate end-to-end service delivery across Group IT units and external partners
- Translate business priorities into roadmaps and delivery plans with Group Function leaders and process owners
- Drive globally aligned solutions, application modernisation and lifecycle planning
- Ensure reliable operations, cost efficiency, security and compliance
- Lead, develop and engage leaders and employees across the unit
- Drive AI and automation to improve services and operational efficiency
- Manage vendors and ensure architectural alignment
- Monitor service availability, quality, global usage and cost efficiency
- Represent Group Function IT in leadership forums and decision-making processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Academic degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
- Extensive IT leadership experience, including leadership of leaders in a complex organisation
- Proven experience leading business-facing IT service delivery and application management, including coordination across internal delivery teams and external partners
- Strong understanding of corporate business processes and supporting IT applications
- Experience translating business priorities into service roadmaps, portfolio priorities and delivery plans with senior business stakeholders
- Strong understanding of service ownership, application lifecycle management and performance improvement
- Proven experience driving application modernisation, global rollout and organisational change while maintaining reliable service delivery
- Experience in vendor management and financial management of IT services
- Broad understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud services, integration, security and compliance, shared platforms, AI and automation
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken
- Must pass security vetting based on current security-protection regulations
- Additional citizenship obligations may apply for positions requiring security clearance
