About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the organisation, people and capabilities within the IT Digital Transformation Office
- Drive transformation execution aligned with Saab’s business and technology priorities
- Lead strategic transformation programmes and projects across Saab with business and technology owners
- Lead Saab’s shared PMO capability and establish common execution follow-up and reporting practices
- Manage programme and project dependencies and resolve delivery risks
- Provide senior management with a consolidated Saab-wide view of progress, risks, dependencies and required decisions
- Ensure transformation delivery aligns with enterprise architecture, governance and security requirements
- Establish common approaches to transformation planning, follow-up and benefit realisation
- Strengthen transformation capabilities, ways of working and change management practices
- Lead, develop and engage employees and leaders
- Collaborate with the CIO Office management team, business leaders, technology leaders and stakeholders across Saab
- Travel to meet teams and stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Academic degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
- Strong people leadership and talent development skills
- Extensive experience leading large-scale technology-enabled transformation in complex organisations
- Strong track record of delivering strategic programmes and measurable business outcomes
- Experience leading or developing PMO programme and project delivery capabilities
- Strong understanding of programme, project and portfolio execution, delivery assurance, dependency management and benefits realisation
- Experience bringing together business, architecture and delivery teams to execute complex change
- Experience advising and influencing senior leaders in complex organisations
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience driving large-scale transformation, strategic change or organisational development initiatives
- Experience from large, complex and global organisations
- Experience from the defence industry or other highly regulated and security-sensitive industries is considered an advantage
- Fluency in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken
- Ability to pass security vetting based on current security protection regulations
- Additional citizenship obligations may apply for positions requiring security clearance
