About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, develop and engage employees and leaders within Red IT
- Drive modernisation and technology renewal while maintaining high levels of security, resilience and compliance
- Ensure trusted and robust environments supporting critical business operations and security-sensitive workloads
- Define and drive the Red IT strategy and roadmap in alignment with business needs and security requirements
- Ensure secure, resilient and efficient operational delivery and lifecycle management across Red IT services
- Establish Infrastructure as Code, automation and standardised operating practices across the on-premises environment
- Develop on-premises infrastructure and platform capabilities enabling secure AI adoption
- Drive security protection, risk management and compliance with security and accreditation functions
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate needs into secure, sustainable solutions
- Build relationships with business stakeholders, vendors and partners
- Work as part of the Modern Infrastructure management team
- Travel occasionally to meet teams and business stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Academic degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
- Strong people leadership and talent development skills
- Extensive experience leading infrastructure or platform teams, with responsibility for operational delivery and service performance
- Experience leading infrastructure transformation, technology renewal, or service development in highly regulated or high-security environments
- Proven leadership of infrastructure or platform teams, including people development, operational delivery and service performance
- Strong understanding of on-premises infrastructure, platform services and lifecycle management
- Experience leading the adoption of Infrastructure as Code, automation and standardised infrastructure practices
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience from large, complex and global organisations
- Experience from the defence industry is considered an advantage
- Fluency in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken
- Must pass security vetting based on current regulations around security protection
- Additional citizenship obligations may apply for positions requiring security clearance
