About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the organisation, people and capabilities within Group Function IT Transformation Office
- Develop a coordinated team supporting transformation and delivery across Group Function IT
- Enable transformation and implementation of new global corporate application services
- Connect business needs, technology choices, delivery quality and measurable outcomes
- Translate Group Function IT’s strategy into actionable plans and coordinated initiatives
- Increase the use of AI and automation
- Enable effective change delivery and continuous improvement with service owners and service managers
- Work with business stakeholders, technology and security teams, and vendors to align priorities, manage dependencies, and follow up progress and results
- Lead, develop and engage employees, building specialist capabilities and cross-functional collaboration
- Lead development and execution of strategy, transformation agenda and strategic planning
- Lead project management and architecture capabilities for coordinated delivery
- Strengthen vendor, performance and portfolio management using KPIs
- Lead AI and automation adoption to improve efficiency and business value
- Build relationships with stakeholders, vendors and partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- Academic degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience leading and developing teams and specialist capabilities in complex IT environments
- Experience driving business transformation, strategic planning or commercial improvement initiatives in complex organisations
- Strong understanding of project delivery, business analysis, architecture and quality assurance
- Experience in vendor and performance management
- Experience applying AI, automation or modern ways of working to improve delivery and efficiency
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including engagement with senior management
- Experience from large, complex and global organisations
- Experience from the defence industry is considered an advantage
- Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken
- Must pass security vetting based on current regulations around security protection
- Additional citizenship obligations may apply for positions requiring security clearance
