About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and transform Saab’s Modern Infrastructure capabilities
- Drive transformation focused on cloud, AI, and modernisation
- Provide cloud-native and automated platforms for product teams
- Ensure stability, availability, and resilience across cloud and legacy infrastructure
- Define and drive the Modern Infrastructure roadmap, including cloud transformation, automation, platform standardisation, and modern engineering practices
- Accelerate cloud adoption and migration with governance, security, and operational excellence
- Drive technology cost optimisation through FinOps, automation, and efficient platform management
- Establish and enforce enterprise connectivity patterns and infrastructure standards
- Enable self-service platforms and improve developer productivity
- Represent Group IT in cross-functional forums and engage senior business and technology stakeholders
- Manage senior leaders and collaborate across the organisation
- Report directly to the Saab Group CIO
Requirements
What you’ll need- Academic degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 10 years of IT management experience, including several years of leadership of leaders
- Extensive experience in infrastructure strategy, cloud operations, platform engineering, connectivity, FinOps, and technology operations
- Proven experience driving cloud transformation, migration initiatives, and large-scale technology modernization programs
- Strong understanding of cloud-native platforms, automation, self-service operating models, and infrastructure governance
- Experience from large global organisations; ideally including defence
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage complex stakeholder landscapes
- Fluency in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken
- Must pass security vetting based on current regulations around security protection
- Additional citizenship obligations may apply for positions requiring security clearance
