About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, develop and engage employees and leaders within the area
- Lead the development of Saab's security engineering capabilities and services
- Define and drive the strategy and roadmap for Security Engineering
- Drive security-by-design across platforms, applications and infrastructure
- Strengthen security architecture, engineering standards and secure development practices
- Enable modern security technologies, automation and Zero Trust capabilities
- Support secure cloud adoption and platform modernisation
- Improve cyber resilience through scalable security capabilities and engineering practices
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, vendors and partners to strengthen Saab's security capabilities and resilience
- Work as part of the IT Security & Compliance Operations management team
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology leaders, architects, vendors and partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- Academic degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
- Strong people leadership and talent development skills
- Extensive experience within Security Engineering, Security Architecture or related security domains
- Strong understanding of security-by-design, modern security architectures and security engineering practices
- Experience driving security transformation, automation or modernisation initiatives
- Understanding of Zero Trust, cloud security and modern security technologies
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience from the defence industry or other highly regulated and security-sensitive industries is considered an advantage
- Fluency in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken
- Must pass security vetting based on current regulations around security protection
- Additional citizenship obligations may apply for positions requiring security clearance
