About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the Protective Security team within Saab's Information & Cyber Security Organization
- Lead specialists responsible for governance and oversight of critical security frameworks
- Ensure compliance with the Swedish Protective Security Act and Ordinance within Information and IT Security
- Define and oversee security standards, baselines, and requirements
- Guide risk assessments and threat analyses
- Ensure effective mitigation strategies aligned with business needs
- Establish processes to monitor and validate security measures
- Ensure resilience against evolving threats
- Bridge security governance and operational excellence in an international, highly regulated environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience leading teams of high-performing specialists
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate organizational goals into actionable priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach
- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Good understanding of relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices
- Solid experience in security governance and protective security
- Ability to translate complex legislation and standards into practical frameworks
- Comfortable leading specialist teams in a highly regulated and sensitive environment
- Must pass security vetting based on current regulations around security protection
- Additional citizenship obligations may apply for positions requiring security clearance
