About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and continuously develop Saab’s common workplace strategy, principles, target states and strategic design directions
- Define and govern workplace standards, guidelines and service models across sites, supporting local adaptations when needed
- Ensure alignment between workplace strategy, real estate strategy, Facility Management service delivery and digital solutions
- Act as Group Property’s specialist and senior advisor on workplace design, functionality, Saab branding and workplace experience
- Advise Business Areas, regional leadership and Property Project organisations on workplace priorities, decisions and trade-offs
- Support workplace planning, concept development and decision-making through expert input and structured recommendations
- Own and develop workplace-related supplier partnerships and agreements with Group Procurement and stakeholders
- Support Property, Hubs, Business Areas, Group Functions and projects in delivering operationally appropriate, sustainable and future-oriented workplace solutions
- Ensure consistent application of workplace standards and incorporate lessons learned into updated guidance
- Strengthen collaboration between regions, projects and central expertise to enable consistent workplace delivery across Saab
- Support workplace initiatives throughout project lifecycles and quality-assure workplace solutions in major projects and strategic initiatives
- Monitor workplace trends, market developments and best practices
- Translate external insights into improvements to workplace strategy, concepts and standards
- Interface with Branding, HR, IT and Security to ensure coherent workplace direction across Saab
- Travel regularly
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong strategic, tactical and operational understanding of workplace design, strategy and workplace experience in complex, multi-site environments
- High ability to translate business needs, external trends and strategic direction into structured, scalable workplace strategies and standards
- Strong competence for project interfaces, including the ability to support planning and guide execution of workplace-related solutions
- Solid understanding of the interfaces between workplace design, Real Estate, Facility Management, digital solutions and organisational development
- Comfortable acting as a trusted advisor and integrator between Group Property and cross-functional stakeholders
- Structured and analytical professional with a strong business mindset
- Genuine interest and experience in creating workplace solutions supporting people and business performance
- Ability to build trust through collaboration and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
- Ability to navigate complex environments and combine strategic thinking with a pragmatic approach
- Security vetting based on current regulations around security protection is required
- Additional citizenship obligations may apply for positions requiring security clearance
