About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with leaders across Safewill to identify the most important opportunities and challenges
- Structure ambiguous questions and clarify decisions that need to be made
- Analyse customer, commercial and operational data to develop insights
- Build business cases, forecasts and recommendations explaining options and trade-offs
- Lead cross-functional initiatives from decision through implementation
- Set plans, responsibilities, milestones and measures of success
- Resolve blockers and participate in execution
- Support priorities across Growth, Enterprise, Product and company-wide initiatives
- Collaborate with Enterprise, Growth, Product and Executive teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience solving complex commercial, strategic or operational problems
- Confidence using spreadsheets and financial models
- Confidence using SQL or other data tools to explore data and generate insights independently
- Track record of turning analysis into practical recommendations and delivering outcomes
- Sound commercial judgement and understanding of how businesses create value
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and build alignment across functions and levels of seniority
- Intellectual curiosity and strong attention to detail
- Willingness to take initiative
- Ability to learn a new market quickly, ask thoughtful questions and develop an informed point of view
- Experience may come from strategy consulting, investment banking, a high-growth technology company, a commercial strategy team, an operational leadership role, or equivalent experience in a small, high-performing team
