About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct a literature review to build expertise in data drift challenges and identify innovative methods suited to the problem
- Propose new creative and innovative ideas to improve the performance of our algorithms
- Implement new code components in the shared codebase, particularly for data preprocessing and model quality evaluation
- Understand, use, and process the provided data
- Develop, train, and test computer vision algorithms using deep learning, machine learning, or statistical methods
- Analyze data and predictions quantitatively and qualitatively to verify their consistency and understand the results
- Work closely with the squad’s data scientists and ML engineers, as well as the AI Research and AI Platform teams
- Contribute to one or more projects aimed at developing or improving a specific algorithm, for example to detect aircraft, ships, vehicles, or industrial anomalies
Requirements
What you’ll need- You are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
- You have strong Python programming skills and follow good software development practices, including an automation mindset, architecture and design principles, quality assurance, testing, and CI/CD
- You have specialized in, or completed a project involving, training models applied to images or structured data
- You are rigorous, curious, self-motivated, and enjoy working as part of a team
- You are eager to learn in a demanding and rigorous technical environment
