About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support developments of Aerospace Cabin interior activities for Safran Engineering Services in the UK
- Produce electrical installations models and detailed drawings for new product and platform designs
- Manage execution of identified work packages and ensure delivery plans converge with customer requirements
- Define integrated design solutions and modifications for electrical systems
- Optimise design solutions based on cost, quality, manufacturability, serviceability and performance
- Provide evidence of design compliance with technical specifications, including DFMEA and testing
- Ensure quality of own deliveries and verify, check and sign off co-workers' engineering drawings
- Produce 3D harness routing, electrical schematics and block diagrams aligned with Safran, regulatory and customer requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Min 3 years experience within Aerospace / Automotive / Rail sector in an Electrical Engineering role
- Experience in Mechatronics
- Excellent knowledge of CATIA V5
- Ability to read design drawings and specifications
- Experience with electrical routing design and installations
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Must have the Right To Work in the UK; sponsorship is not offered for this role at this time
