About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the skills development plan: assess needs, prioritize initiatives, deploy training programs in compliance with administrative and regulatory procedures, and monitor the plan using advanced performance indicators
Design and deploy training pathways and programs for targeted employee groups
Act as a strategic partner to operational leadership and align training initiatives with the organization’s overall strategies
Manage the training budget using budget dashboards, analyze variances, anticipate overruns, and recommend budget allocation decisions
Analyze data and produce HR reporting: build dashboards, interpret trends, and recommend data-driven action plans
Lead cross-functional HR projects, including the Skills Matrix and Learning & Development newsletter
Manage the skills development plan for all employees and deploy tailored programs for experts, managers, directors, talent, and high-potential employees

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 5 years of experience in HR development, training, or Learning & Development
Demonstrated experience managing a skills development plan and training budget
Comfortable working with HR data and reporting
Ability to interact with senior-level stakeholders, including directors and technical experts
Business-oriented mindset and understanding of technology-related roles
Self-sufficiency, analytical mindset, sound prioritization and decision-making skills, and strong influencing abilities
In-depth understanding of training methodologies, tools, and the training lifecycle
Excellent facilitation and communication skills
Proficiency in training management software and tools
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a security clearance process due to potential access to information classified as a national defense secret
