About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the SOC: SIEM monitoring, alert triage, and escalation
- Conduct or oversee forensic investigations, including compromise analysis and evidence collection
- Maintain and improve incident response playbooks
- Lead the vulnerability management process: scanning, prioritization, and remediation tracking
- Manage patch management in coordination with IT/infrastructure teams
- Maintain an MCS dashboard with coverage and compliance KPIs
- Administer and harden Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD): Conditional Access, PIM, MFA, and access policies
- Lead identity governance: access reviews, lifecycle management, and least-privilege access
- Monitor Entra ID logs and detect anomalous behavior
- Manage SSO/SCIM integrations with SaaS applications
- Administer CrowdStrike Falcon EDR/XDR, tune detection policies, and conduct endpoint hunting
- Manage Cloudflare: WAF, DDoS protection, ZTNA, and DNS security
- Administer other SaaS security tools, including cloud SIEM, email security, and DLP
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proficient in SIEM operations and able to create detection rules (Splunk, Sentinel, or equivalent)
- Solid experience administering EDR/XDR solutions at an advanced level (CrowdStrike Falcon required)
- Comfortable with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD: Conditional Access, PIM, Identity Protection, and audit logs
- Able to lead vulnerability management and patch management activities
- Experience in incident response and forensics, including memory analysis, network analysis, and Windows/Linux artifacts
- Proficient in network and security protocols and technologies: DNS, TLS, VPNs, segmentation, and firewalls
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, and EBIOS RM
- Demonstrates rigor and autonomy in defining and implementing action plans
- Strong communication, support, and information-sharing skills
- The successful candidate will be subject to a security clearance process in accordance with the French Defence Code and IGI 1300, due to potential access to information classified as a national defence secret
